Uncomfortably Numb

Accepting fate means you're going to accept whatever fate someone Else is handing out.

The only fate you Need to accept is the fate you Want to accept.

@Ana, yes, it's part of the human condition, but isn't it also part of the human condition to want to change it to better yourself than the hand you were dealt with?

@Bunker, I am caught between the above sentiment, and thinking we are poor players on a stage being ruled by Greco-Roman Gods like Barbie dolls, and our lives really are full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

I'm feeling more and more like the cat everyday too. It just seems so hard sometimes.

Ah, but Mark, the silly feline makes it less difficult. It seems to be a trade off. they don't have opposable thumbs so they need us for the can opener. And we need them to hear the purrr and relax.
